Position Title:         Accounting Officer

Number of Post:         1   

Location:             Phnom Penh

Schedule:             Full-time (48 hours)

Salary range:         Competitive 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage fee collection and other revenues

  • Manage all expenses including payroll

  • Manage bank accounts

  • Handle petty cash

  • Participate in purchasing

  • Prepare financial statements

  • Prepare budget

  • Submit tax declaration to the Tax Department and NSSF

  • Control school supplies inventory and fixed asset listing

  • Safeguard all accounting documents 

  • Handle financial audits

  • Other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor

 

Requirements:

  • At least Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 

  • At least 1 year of experience in accounting field

  • Ability to record transactions and make accurate financial reports 

  • Ability to read and write in English and Khmer

Responsibilities

  • Manage the maintenance and cleanliness of the campus facilities and building in general

  • Manage general documents of the school

  • Manage security guards, cleaners and building and facilities related contractors

  • Manage relationships with related public authorities

  • Manage fixed asset listing and the school’s belongings in general

  • Manage student materials, books, uniforms and cleaning supplies

  • Manage job announcement and recruitment of new staff

  • Prepare draft employment contracts

  • Ensure HR compliance with related public agencies

  • Manage proper staff dismissal and resignation

  • Assist in providing staff orientation and staff trainings

  • Facilitate staff legal matters such as visa renewal, work permit renewal, travel, accommodation, etc. 

  • Monitor staff attendance and compliance with HR policy in general

  • Help the Accounting Officer in preparing the payroll

  • Help the related staff in preparing staff party and other staff related event

Requirements

  • Preferably Bachelor’s degree in management or business or public administration

Position Title:     Foreign Teacher

Duties:

  • Prepares weekly lesson plans and needed materials/manipulatives 

  • Teach the assigned class(es) according to the schedule

  • Supervise the classroom to minimize the risks for children and prevent accidents

  • Cooperate with support staff and management in school activities and events

  • Maintain a good relationship with children, parents, staff and management

  • Prepare a monthly newsletters 

  • Prepare a semesterly report card for the children in view of the parent-teacher conferences

  • Lead, motivate and train the Khmer curriculum team including Khmer teachers and teacher assistants

  • Help recruit the Khmer teachers and TAs

  • Prepare Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) by year, semester, month, and week

  • Coordinate the weekly lesson planning process and teaching and learning materials
