Ontario International School provides not only excellent care services but also appropriate educational program to primary school students aged from 6 to 11 years.
1. The teachers have a degree in early childhood education.
2. The teachers and staff are gentle and care for children’s wellbeing.
3. Use Learning Outcome-Based Curriculum from Canada and Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport
4. Focus on holistic development (physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, and communication development)
5. Provide unique programs to ensure holistic development (yoga, meditation, home economics, swimming, arts, music and songs, craft, math, social sciences, language, computer, etc.
6. Conduct a free play program to identify the children’s innate orientation
7. Check the child’s temperature 3 times a day and weight them 1 time a week
8. Provide a detailed daily record to parents about the child’s temperature, and eating (e.g. amount of rice and amount of food they eat, amount of water, amount of milk, etc.)
9. Children quickly learn to speak, write and read.
10. Extra-curricular activities connect the lessons learned in class with real experiences
11. Children become brave persons.
12. Children learn to be independent and responsible for their own actions such as eating, dressing, and tidying the learning materials after play.
13. Teachers and teacher assistants encourage children to eat enough and properly that could make the children healthy body and healthy mind.
