Ontario International School follows the Canadian curriculum for the international program and the Cambodian curriculum for the national program. The Canadian curriculum is conducted in English language, while the Cambodian curriculum is conducted in Khmer language. Ontario also provides a Chinese language training course that is taught by qualified Chinese native teachers.

What curriculum do you use?
Ontario International School uses the Canadian curriculum of the Ontario Ministry of Education and Cambodian curriculum of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. Ontario is the only international standard school in Cambodia that uses the "Whole Child Education Model" which can ensure child holistic development in the physical, cognitive, communication and socio-emotional domains. This is the Learning Outcome-Based Curriculum, which ensures that "Your Child Makes a Difference Every Day."
What is the study schedule?
There are half-day and full-day classes. All classes are conducted from Monday to Friday, beginning at 8AM and ending at 4:30PM. However, parents can drop their children at school from 7:30AM, and full-day children can remain on campus till 5PM
What extra curricular activities do you offer?
Children and parents are encouraged to join at least four study tours per year. The purposes of the study tours are to provide the children opportunities to socialize with their friends, other children, adults, and the community in order to raise awareness and build social skills. Through these programs, the children will also explore the real world and construct their knowledge. This practice aligns with the Progressivism Philosophy of Education.
What language is used as a medium of instruction?
Two languages are used as media of instruction: English for the international program and Khmer for the national program. Chinese is also taught in a part-time class every day.
What are your teachers’ qualifications ?
All international teachers have Master's degree in education and many years experiences in teaching. All Khmer teachers have Bachelor's degrees and professional certificates in teaching recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.
